A number of members of the Fine Lot crew have traditionally sat in section 116, near mid field on the visitors side, about halfway up, just east of the 50 yard line.We are planning on coming up for the spring scrimmage/practice this year. Anyone have an interest in meeting up somewhere?
Is it open seating?A number of members of the Fine Lot crew have traditionally sat in section 116, near mid field on the visitors side, about halfway up, just east of the 50 yard line.
I expect to be there. It is a great group to watch the spring game with. Anyone on the board is welcome to join us, including the really quiet lurkers...

Agree. The new staff wants to run at least 100 plays on offense each game. One of the primary reasons is to wear out the defense. College defenses are used to defending around 70 plays a game. When they play Syracuse, the plan is that they reach that 70 play barrier sometime late in the third quarter. For the 2nd time in a long time I'm seriously thinking about attending as I would like a sneak peek at the new no huddle "fast" offense. One way to kill a fast offense is for it to go 3 & out but that is true of any offense. I haven't looked at Baylors early offense during the first 3 years under Briles but I bet it was a struggle.
I know some people are comparing FOCGM "fast offense" to HCDB's but the problem with GM's offense was that he got stuck in the mud regarding implementation and especially play calling. Funny but I would bet that many of the plays are the same as GM had as he did study a fast spread offensive style that he wanted to implement but its entirely different when it comes to implementation and execution. Here is where HCDB's experience on the "how's" will be a night and day difference. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out over the next few years.
One more tidbit - HCDB simply "loves the Dome" and prefers that no air conditioning ever gets installed. Indoor track meet, with the highest temp & humidity, is what he prefers! Thank goodness we finally have found a head coach whose offensive style of play perfectly matches and takes advantage of our Dome environment!
I don't know about you guys but I cannot wait for football to start!
Stick around, there a LAX game against Notre Dame at 5 PM.
