Why a noon game on thur ?

Humanities, i want to eventually study journalism at Syracuse

If you want to go to SU then study your ass off, ace that mid-term, and forget about watching a game in what is ultimately a meaningless tournament

Your long term goal should be to take pride in an SU degree. There will be other SU games for you to watch this week

Definitely focus on your exam. Two hours of watching a semi-meaningless game isn't worth getting a letter grade, or even a third of a letter grade lower on one exam.

There will be plenty, and I mean 8 other Syracuse victories to watch after this one.

This is also not to be a dick, but if you want to study journalism, particularly at Syracuse, you really, really need to focus on your spelling, punctuation, grammar and syntax. Trust me on this. I know this is only an internet message board, but poor writing habits in one part of your life will carry over to other parts of your life.
Not to be a dick, but saying not to be a dick is kind of being a dick.

What am i and others supposed to do ?

Your suppose to go take your mid term as well as and quit whining. Also realizing that these aren't real problems.

Or if it gets to you that much, skip the midterm and let it ride on the final, frankly nobody here cares about your exam schedule always remember the world needs ditchdiggers too

I am finally getting an old college wrestling injury fixed this wed...shoulder surgery. Will be off work for approx. 3 weeks. going to be one of the best March madness years for me ever as I will be able to catch so many games, same with the BET. I would love to take credit for planning surgery this way...but alas thats just the way it turned out.

I disagree with any advantage had for having the most rest. If anything you want to play at the same time the next day. Playing at noon one day, then at 7pm the next is extremely confusing for your body.

sweet timing

How are we on a message board and no one came up with this!

1. if you live in the Syracuse area you must have Time Warner, get the watch ESPN app and you can watch it on your mobile device (if you have a smart phone)

2. If the game is on ESPN it must be ESPN 3, simply tune in on you computer after the test.

3. No DVR?

it really is...and I just realized it Sat watching the game. I am pretty stoked...although i will be in a lot of pain...it may just be worth it if this team makes a serious run

Btw, it's always been bad karma for me if I called in sick or left work early to watch a tourney game!

A pair of my best memories at SU were skipping class (though I didn't have midterms) and watching the SU/Cincy and SU/UConn games at Schine Student Center in 2006. The lobby was packed with kids that were just walking by on the way to the bookstore or food court and then stayed because their eyes were glued on Gerry. It was so impromptu. The energy was amazing.

I see what you did there...

I got snipped the day of the start of the NCAA tournament in 2003 (one of the reasons why I didnt make it to Boston that year). I specifically planned it so I would be down and out for that weekend. Aside from the basketball success, throw in the "having to clean out the pipes" for the next 2 weeks (mrs marsh...paging mrs marsh...) March/April of 2003 was a terrific time!

Were the pipes cleaned while watching the games? If so, beer on me in a Cuse bar during the tourney.

Once the swelling went down I think it was game on once the kiddies were in bed. I mean the doctor told me it had to be done 12-15 times so of course I doubled that number when I told my wife. "Honey its not me, doctors orders..."

You ol' sailor. "Honey, look at the prescription!"

Of course I got the "cant you self-prescribe a lot of that". Well sure but it really works better if I have a helper.

You'd better keep Mrs Marsh away from me in Boston. Women talk. You'll be retroactively doomed.

Thinking of making a last minute trip to see the game. I won't know until Wednesday. What is the best approach for tickets?
