- Now let’s look at who Missouri has beaten: Southeastern Louisiana, (why aren’t they Louisiana-somewhere?) Arizona State, Central Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee. Their total record is 23-28. Are you quaking in your boots?
- Karma. We are going to win this game because, Sheldon Richardson, the guy in the middle who is the key to their defense, didn’t bother to go to class and has been suspended for this game. We DESERVE this.
- Their O-line has blocked for 33 fewer rushing yards per game than ours and they’ve given up 10 more sacks.
- No James Franklin won’t be the quarterback he was last year. He’ll be the quarterback he is this year. How can they run a spread with a quarterback who’s not fully healthy? The Tigers put up 51 points on Tennessee in OT but it was 28-28 at the end of regulation and Franklin had 269 yards total offense. We just won a game- easily, where the quarterback had 441 yards total offense. We have handle this.
- They say that good teams get better as the season goes along. It’s been along time since we’ve done that. But this team ahs become more balanced on offense, better on defense and they’ve shored up special teams and stopped making so many mistakes. As Doug Marrone said, when we don’t make mistakes, we are hard to beat.
- Mr. Marrone heard what Charley Strong said after the game Saturday, when all he would talk about was his own team’s failures. He told the SU players that they’ve got to go out there and earn people’s respect. Beating and SEC team in their own place to go bowl eligible would help. I have a very strong feeling that this game will much more resemble the Louisville game than our previous road disasters.
5-5 and strive for 2 more…
LET’S GO ORANGE!!!
