- It’s a conference full of mediocre teams that keep beating each other. The fact that you lose one game, (or two or three) has no bearing at all on whether you are going to win the next one. We could go 5-7 or we could go 8-5. Let’s go 8-5 again.
- We’ve been one win away from bowl eligibility for three games in a row and come up empty each time. We won’t go 0 for 5 and this will be our best chance to do it, with Zach Collaros out and the emotions of senior day.
- Rutgers stuffed Pead with only 28 yards on 14 carries: we can do that, too. If we do, they aren’t going to score any more than they did vs. Rutgers.
- Alec Lemon is getting better and better and Nick Provo is one of the bets tight ends in the country. They and Ryan Nassib will have big days against a Bearcat defense that’s giving up even more yards passing that we are, (271/game).
- I feel that we still have a big kick return in the chamber.
- We’re due for a game in which we get off to a good start and things go our way for a change.
