For the supposed weak link this group has turned out to be pretty damn good. You still see people saying there is no separation, or running wrong routes (which could be the case, but who knows?), but I haven't bought into that all year. These guys have done an amazing job of stepping up and making big plays. The great thing is that they are only getting better as the season progresses. Just look at what we thought would be the case coming into the season. Butler would be the #1, Custis #2, and then Pierce. Instead Butler has basically been a non-factor, Custis has emerged as a solid threat, but then things get interesting. You have guys like Sean Riley and Nykeim Johnson who have turned into mini wes walker's. Riley is great with the short stuff, but Johnson can do that and take the top off of the defense. The biggest surprise and probably the most important has been Taj Harris. Man is this kid impressive. He has firmly established himself as the #2 outside WR, and is easily the best pure WR playing. 3 more years of this kid. Sign me up please. If reports of Hendrix being the best of the bunch out of camp are true i can't even imagine the air attack we will have next year. But there will be plenty of time to talk about that. We still have plenty of work to do in what could be a huge season.

NC state does not have above Avg DBs. if you watched the Clemson game you knew they can be beat if you get some pass protection. Clemson has elite DBs and we threw ok.

throwing for under 200 vs pitt really shaped the season. never should have happened.

it shows though if you try to cover riley/Johson with LBs they better be able to run like Clemsons
