I have no idea, my guess is they officially take over when Syverud goes to Michigan, but if the insiders are right and the new chancellor is already at Syracuse. They probably already unofficially started.

Because of the work John Wildhack did for this university and athletic department, the new AD has a more simple job than ever and that is Syracuse being competitive and winning on gamedays. We've come a LONG way on facilities.
