unfortunately, i have heard she is still in the mix despite originally being told the opposite. I dont get it.
I try to be an optimist, but WTAF would we be doing? Especially after the end of the Coach Hillsman situation and the new Pitt Women’s Basketball situation that might’ve happened and she apparently knew about and did nothing during her AD run there. And if she is cleared, if she wants to be an AD, let a G5 hire her. Syracuse can’t risk being her second chance at this time. Did I miss Patrick Star inclusion on the search committee? Lol

Generally I would rather see Syracuse promote someone at a lower level program in the position already that is promising and successful than someone needing a second chance and that goes for the men’s basketball hiring as well. And if she is hired she better dominate the press conference and media early and knock this men’s basketball hire out of the park because even the most optimistic will need something to get on board.

Any time you get the chance to hire a failed Pitt AD who presided over financial malfeasance, scandals, and was unceremoniously fired you totally gotta take it.

I'm not going to overreact until a hire is made, but if that's ultimately the choice then it's clear SU isn't serious about running a successful athletics department.

Agreed, the hire would signal we are at our "peak" and waving the white flag.
I'll try not to do much hand wringing until the hire is made BUT the committee even thinking of her as an opition is insane.
