And with the portal in effect now, there's ZERO reason not to be able to backfill any areas that HS crootin didn't address.

Dino would make a terrible marketing executive. Does he have to b**** about the lack of depth already and frame it like it was a problem that he inherited? It’s July, camp hasn’t even started yet and you have led this program for 6 freaking years! You are the reason depth is still an issue. Either fix it or step aside and let someone run it who can (and also show a little more optimism).

Quality depth is an issue. It’s been one of my problems with Dino. At the same time if I’m him I wouldn’t tell the public that we have great depth. You might gain fan excitement but expectations get too high and that opens the door for disappointed with fans. Lol.

I would not have thought Jordan, Kpogba, Richards or trill would have left. Trill is doing good in camp but still thought should have stayed. Kpogba could have been grades so staff should have known.
Munoz and Jonas did not expect. Dawson clearly was home sick. NJ wanted a change.
It’s going to tuff to keep quality depth with the portal at a number of programs. Need to be aggressive in filing holes with available players.

Not grabbing a transfer Wr makes me think they like what they got. Dino has never been hesitant to grab Wr’s in the past.

I'd have been more interested in a ready to play Center or Tackle-I know he said Servais is a lock to start, but he hasn't looked good in a long time. CBS Sports recently had a top 150 transfer list (linked below)-Louisville, West Virginia, BC bringing in multiple players from that list. Guess how many of those are coming to SU? Why are we surprised? They went hard after quality transfers. Didn’t get them. It’s no different than recruiting HS kids.We are gonna miss on players that have good options. The better transfers want to play for contenders and that leaves slim pickings. You’re left with guys who may not be any better than what you have. Even when you get transfers. You still have to coach them up. We have to rely on developing the players on the roster more than anything. It’s great if we can get quality transfers to fill spots but not just anyone. Quality gets you better. Not quantity.
