Will tonights game

I thought 17-21 points two weeks ago and haven't changed my opinion. If FSU rolls maybe it'll shut up most of the ACC sucks crowd.

And it will restart the "FSU to SEC" crowd.

that actually brings up a fun hypothetical discussion on "relegation". fsu, clemson and duke move to sec next year. florida, kentucky and tenny come to acc

i don't think anyone knows anything about anything this bowl season and I like it that way

every game has been crazy. i thought oklahoma would get annihilated. good teams can score on anyone now. auburn has rolled up lots of yards and points against good opponents.

Auburn played 13 games. i throw out the Ark St/Flor At/ West Carolina games. 10 games left and they were under 400 4 times so they can be stopped.. the big issue is that in those 10 games they have given up 450 or more 7 times, 500 yds to Ala/MiZZ/GA/A&M and 450 to 3 others. FSU is probably going to gain 500 and score 40-45 if they dont make 3-4 turnovers. Can Auburn run for 400 because I dont think other than a a big pass play can throw enough to make FSU give up attacking the box.

I think Auburn can win, get a few shots in early, you never know. I would like to see a very close game in the 4th, see how Winston responds with some heat on him.

this will be all or nothing for auburn, for sure. volatile offense. wonder if florida state will have trouble defending some fast long drives. florida state games are so short all year, their defenders never get gassed. force a few 3 and outs, go up by a hundred, send in the scrubs

Exactly.. Auburn needs to weather the storm, move the ball keep it close, longer they stay in the better. I have watched many FSU games and it seems like they were up 28-0 in most of them with 7 to go in the first qt

little mac vs tyson. get through the first 90 seconds

The inane THIRTY day layoff these teams have had may cause some problems. Often seems like at least one team struggles with the time away from live football.

(I suppose I am showing my age with those references) ;)

I think we'll know right off the bat if Auburn can hang around. That FSU defense is awesome. If Malzahn comes out and can't get any points in the first two drives, I think it's over at halftime.

Everyone on this board should be rooting for Auburn to get stomped, after Mister Tie Die in Jan 1988. Personally I'd love to see Florida St win 63-7, or at least by 30+.

This may be the game Millhouse has been waiting for. The secret to an FSU victory is to attempt no field goals.

Good Call

I thought Auburn had them so many times, great game.
the little kid from The Incredibles saved them with that kick return. why is it so hard for players to stay in their lanes? had flashbacks to gabe northern against the Titans.

also had flashbacks to thurman thomas's long td in sb25. florida state's defense did end up getting tired like we thought

i thought the auburn player had a good angle to catch the guy but whooosh

florida state had 5.8 yards per play, they're usually above 8 or 9. they really escaped. auburns qb makes a better throw the first drive and scores, who knows

The guy going down with the hammy or cramp didn't help

A former FSU coach who is currently on Auburns staff, was stealing signals and relaying it to the Auburn defense the entire first half. Would explain how they knew exactly when and where to blitz, how the Auburn corners were sitting where the receivers routes were going, and which direction the runs were going to.

Nearly the only positive plays in the first half for our offense were either improvised broken plays, or where one of the Auburn players slipped and fell in coverage.

The come back in the second half didnt start until they started using towel boys to block the auburn sideline from seeing the play calls. Its not against the rules in college ball, and am kinda disappointed Fisher didnt foresee that coming into the game. Almost ended up costing us the game...

Here we go!!

I'm not surprised that Auburn would do that and many do. Luckily for FSU they finally figured it out and changed their signs.

Miami did that to SU a while ago. The DC had his binoculars and waited for the signal and then signaled down to his D. SU never caught it.

is this the guy who winston hugged after the game? he went immediately to the auburn coach when the clock hit zero...

Yeah Dameyune Craig... I dont want to say to much more because it sounds like whining, and I'll take a 34-31 title win every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

But one of the ESPN camera's over heard Kelvin Benjamin come back to the sideline after the first 3 and out of the second half and say to Winston/Fisher, "Dameyune is calling all the plays!" After that the towels came back out to start blocking the signals.

Prior to that we had hardly any positive plays unless they were the result of Auburn DB's falling down in coverage, fake punts, or broken plays where Winston had to scramble and improvise.
