ManteoRed said:A former FSU coach who is currently on Auburns staff, was stealing signals and relaying it to the Auburn defense the entire first half. Would explain how they knew exactly when and where to blitz, how the Auburn corners were sitting where the receivers routes were going, and which direction the runs were going to.
Nearly the only positive plays in the first half for our offense were either improvised broken plays, or where one of the Auburn players slipped and fell in coverage.
The come back in the second half didnt start until they started using towel boys to block the auburn sideline from seeing the play calls. Its not against the rules in college ball, and am kinda disappointed Fisher didnt foresee that coming into the game. Almost ended up costing us the game...
Well, that certainly explains how their blitzes all seemed perfectly timed. I even said it to my son that it looked like Auburn knew what plays were coming.
