So, your idea is that the question shouldn’t be asked? Or that, certain views shouldn’t be expressed?

We have people on here answering two different questions. What do you THINK will happen in the rest of the season? And what do you HOPE happens?

Now that we are six games into the season, people have a better view of the strengths and weaknesses of this team.

There’s certainly not a lot that we have seen that optimists can hang their hat on.

People can’t post whatever they want. This is America.

And I reserve the right to think it’s a terrible post for the same reason.

Us losing this game 16-10 shows we are pure dumpster juice. The offensive line was horrid, Devito and his decision making was less then good, and defense was just so so. I say we win 1 more against BC.

Devito is a first year starter and that has to be experienced to get a grasp on the position. Last year he showed some great abilities including throwing the long ball and managing the team to 2 wins, but the defensive coordinators didn't have any tape on him and he had it easy. Now they do and they are attacking his weaknesses. But, at the end of the NCST game he had a fiery look in his eyes and to me, looked like he was balling. I think he plays strong from here out and gets the team to a bowl.

Devito has looked worse than I could have imagined before the season.

In our 3 P5 games, we are averaging 3.4 yds per carry, have 11 false start penalties and have given up 20 sacks and you choose the quarterback as the only player/unit that you single out?

Not sure why there are so many anti DeVito comments. Yes, I will be the first to admit based on my own observations that he has right now, poor pocket presence and field awareness, for some reason, does not like to take off and run when it is obvious that he should. This last game he was hesitant to throw guys open even though if there is one quarterback who can do it, it's him. Once he fixes these problems, he should grow as an ACC quarterback pretty fast. What you said is the real reason why the offense is struggling. They can't run block, they can't pass block, two of the receivers are MIA and besides not being able to block, the offensive line false starts way too many times. You are very correct sir, DeVito is not the one to be singled out here.
