Will you rush the field with me when we win?

Hell Yes to rushing the field! The question is can we get the goal posts down?
we could get them down, but how do we get them out?! Can't take them out the dome doors because the wind tunnel effect will turn it into a missile like projectile flying over Rte 81.

I will be there.

LincolnCuse, be sure to bring gear to rappel down from the 3rd deck to the field level so we don't have to use the stairs.

I'm on it...Bill can be the anchor

Hey Northacuse...I wont be able to post your bail...we will be sitting there side by side waiting for our wives to get us out...problem in my case it that I might be there for a long time...

Thank you for this post. So sick of all the negativity. I still believe in coach shafer, I still believe in this team and I still believe we're gonna win this game on Saturday. I'll be on the 50 yard line sobbing tears of joy right after the game.

I've been a little curious myself with the "we're gonna lose 56-3" type posts. This wouldn't even make the top 3 of upsets for us in the last 30 years. It would be a nice win but far from impossible. 7%. Not 0%. 7%. Seven times out of 100 we win this game. Maybe it's Saturday

Maybe people are saying that because we lost 59-3 last year and now we don't have our quarterback

maybe the offense from maryland game shows up again, that gives us a punchers chance.. maybe the To's from the ND game come back too.. combined we have as shot

I like the spirit of your post but I do think this would be neck and neck with Nebraska for biggest upsets in the last 30 years.

No matter what YOU always have go to a game when you play the #1 team in the country. Even though we may have a 1% chance of winning, if you have season tickets or just tickets, wouldn't you want to say "I was there when we beat #1 FSU on October 11th, 2014!

Some of you have posted you may not go - I went to every Grob game and I for one would never miss this game - no way no how. All I have to say is "remember the Nebraska game on September 29th, 1984 - I was there".

See you on Saturday - Go Cuse!
I too was at the Nebraska game. I will be in my seats this Saturday too!

Neck and neck yes, but not bigger. And our win over UL in 07 was way bigger than a win on Saturday. UL win was Vegas historic. A win Saturday would be #3 barely ahead of GROBS lame duck win in south bend

We disagree. I've been watching football games at the dome since it opened. IMO, the #1 Nebraska win is the biggest SU upset by far in the past 30 years. It pretty much stands alone. As for the win at ND ... ND was not good that year and had a 6-4 record going in. In 2007, Louisville was ranked #18... so enough said of that being a bigger upset than a win this weekend against #1.

I was about 2 yards away from taking the goal posts down when Graves/ Gedney came up just a few yards short. I have a feeling I would have wound up in the clink that evening. Made sense at the time though

Agreed, I judge upsets by point spread, it would be big but not the biggest

You agree with him that the '07 Louisville (#18) win is a bigger upset that the win against #1 Nebraska in '84? What the hell am I missing here?

Maybe not spread specific (a spread I still don't quite understand), but regardless of how FSU has looked, we're talking about the #1 team in the country, who hasn't lost since 2012, with the reigning Heisman trophy winner.

Wouldn't be too many that are bigger than this. Maybe more improbable, but this would be an epic upset.

Now I want the time back that it took me to write that, because it ain't happening.

doesn't really mean much for this weekend but vegas has some serious doubts about florida state this year. 22nd in defense, 21st in offense vs BCS/P5 isn't as good as last year but still pretty good. people must be hedging against a Winston implosion. probably that great moment where fisher had the What when winston comes out dressed. or a few people who are in the know are betting big against them knowing that there is going to be a psychological debacle meltdown one of these days

part of what makes something the biggest upset is sucking really bad

it's more fun to think about the best wins, the best teams we've beat
