One thing that stood out to me against Houston is how effective Kyle was playing against BOTH Tugler and Cenac. He wasn't literally out there by himself, but Betsey and Kingz are both perimeter players primarily, and even White really needed Kyle to help carry the load. You could see a world of dropoff when Kyle was on the bench. Which is why he played 36 minutes.
One other point, Kyle at least twice had the ball outside the three point line on ball screens and the defender left him alone to double the shooter. Both times, Kyle took the two dribbles to the basket and dunked. I bet after that video, teams guard the ball screen differently. It will result in more open threes for our guys, or clear lines to the basket after the handoff.
Kyle is nothing short of a great player.
