William Kyle workout

That's not nice (but very true). Ha. I really liked Kyle but I don't see his game translate to the NBA at all. I hope he proves me wrong!
It's probably not nice, either, to suggest Kyle shoot FTs underhanded. Wilt Chamberlain likely shot a higher percentage than Kyle (I don't know that for a fact), but Rick Barry certainly did. Give it a try. ;-)-VBOF

If they do, maybe they'll show him how every kid 8 years old and up was taught to shoot and he'll hit 80% of them.
He is far from the only big man who for some reason has had an issue with free throws sadly. Wilt Chamberlain, Shaq, Ben Wallace, Deandre Jordan, Andre Drummond, Chris Dudley (an Ivy league grad). Our own Arinze, Terrence Roberts etc. Some players just seem to have mental blocks regarding it for some reason.

Absolutely. I've just never seen such a weird sideways hitch on a freethrow stroke. And don't get me wrong. He was my favorite player this year. When things went downhill, I mostly kept tuning in to watch him block shots and dunk.

He would get big boyed on the block by nearly every team in the league. Guess he could be an energy guy but hard to play when you don't have to be guarded.

Kyle has his weaknesses but he also has a lot of strengths. There are far worse players on NBA benches
No there aren’t. The NBA talent level is insane. This guy can’t shoot a free throw without looking like the dude from something about marry trying to stand up with all that hardware . YES.. he’s a far better athlete than the majority of nba players riding the pine. But to say there are far worse PLAYERS? come on

Idk what you're talking about there are always some complete scrubs on the end of benches

Adem Bona is a similar profile to Kyle (and ironically, both played at some point in their college careers at UCLA).

Bona scored a little more at UCLA (probably due to having a better team), but Kyle finished at a higher clip. Both athletic as all heck, Kyle maybe a bit smaller but not by much.

Bona is the backup center for a playoff team in the Sixers. He's just OK, but he's carved out a role. I wouldn't put it past Kyle to do the same.
