Yeah he was on the 2nd string OL for the Spring game. Really thought he would continue to work his way up and never know when an injury may happen which means next man up. Like you said and I feel same way, could have been starting next year too.

He was one of the higher rated OL recruits. Thought he was playing some center to. Wonder why he's leaving.

Too bad, this was a kid I would have liked to hang on to. But he might have been facing an uphill climb this year, with all of those guards ahead of him. Agree with the above that it is tough to keep kids who aren't playing, when they are from down south.

No it's his hometown. I went to a HS game of his and talked to his aunt. Always worried about the homesick angle with this guy. Wasn't sure how he would do so far from home. UNT is in the same town as his high school

Back home. Glad he found a decent landing spot. Hopefully he can get on the field and contribute for them. I have no doubt Coach Fran can find us more lineman. Hopefully Bryon Washington and Luke Carney work out. We do seem to have a big issue keeping these Texas guys.

He was excellent second half of the year. He and JRS are the foundation of the wr unit. What Hatcher brings will be gravy given his injury.

They usually stick around more when they are starting. Just like everyone.
