Win or lose Saturday, I am ready for the season to be over

I support SU and I support the kids that play. I cheer during the good and bad. I love SU football, much more than basketball. My dream as a kid was to play for SU, I was never good enough or big enough. I will continue to support this program, but I want them to do it the right way. This season has been frustrating, but you go to support the kids. They play their asses off and deserve better support from the fans.

I just think attending a football game at the Dome is 1000X better than TV (ok, it was a million times better before HD), but it's still better. I was there Saturday and had a great time, even as I muttered 3 yard pass on 4th and 8 to myself about 50 times on the walk out. If I watched that game on TV I might have begged for those hours of my life back.

talked with someone involved with marketing at Ohio state.. they cant get students to come or stay for the games like they did in the past.. in surveying they found one of the biggest issues is lack of wireless/cellphone coverage. The kids said they would rather go to a bar where they can chat/tweet/txt than sit at at he game and be isolated from their friends..

Teaching seniors I can tell you it is a all out battle every day getting kids to put away cell phones. They won't let us take them away though.
