Wish SU was not name after city

Since most people in the U.S. think Syracuse University is in NYC (I kid you not), most will also associate SPD with SU.

Well, we had our chance back in 1848 but chose Syracuse instead of Salina. Maybe city officials should take this opportunity for a re-do in which case at least some of the blame can be redirected towards Kansas.

What EVER!!!! This can work both ways.If an SU coach wasn't being ACCUSED OF MOLESTATION. Then SU wouldn't be getting a bad -ING NAME. Jesus. Has nothing to do with the city and everything to do with a person that WORKS FOR SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY.Keep your university employees in check and maybe the university won't look so dam bad.

PS.Only reason most locals follow SU is because of the name in front of the word university.If you want 2,000 students there for every game and that is all.Then by all means, change the dam name.
