Lose and he might be packing up his office Sunday

If that’s true does the team vote and lay down?

He’s coaching for his job Saturday. We can put a foot in his door and send him packing

Well, the Florida State players don't seem to think too highly of our team this year... so maybe they'll overlook us?

Taggart will likely get canned at the end of the year regardless of the results of this game. Not sure the Florida State players will care either.

Back in 2015, SU played USF in an OOC game in similar circumstances. USF was not playing up to expectations and the fanbase was really unhappy.

USF played well that day and was able to beat Syracuse. It was the beginning of the end for Scott Shafer.

The Bulls got hot after that and finished the season very strong. Their embattled coach saved his job and soon ended up as the HC at two very prestigious schools.

That coach was Willie Taggart.

Let’s hope Syracuse doesn’t save him again.

I had no idea that a loss to Syracuse was the springboard for Taggart to succeed at USF.

Right now Babers is struggling. He needs a win to keep people from thinking that last year was a fluke. Babers really needs Syracuse to play very well and make Taggart's seat even hotter.

Yeah, way I see it, he kinda owes us.

It wasn't a loss. It was a win for USF and Taggert.

I mean clearly it will either be
FSU 45 SU 20
Or
FSU 24 SU 34

He won't make the post game press conference before getting his walking papers if our back up QB beats him this week.

...and eyes say we aren’t the ones to sweep the leg.

Now come on...this from y'all who kept Fedora on way too long.

I’m ok with outsiders thinking it was a fluke. Keeps their paws away from trying to steal him.

Personally I think this year is the fluke. First two years the records weren’t good but the progress and improvement was clear from watching the team play. As far as I’m concerned, 1 bad year that’s sabotaged by one incredibly poor unit doesn’t override 3 years of progress that included our best season in almost 20 years.

My take as well. Let's get some of the promising younger OL players some run and get a head start on 2020.
You can’t do that until you are no longer bowl eligible. Until then, you play your best players. Obviously opinions can vary as to who those players may be, but only one opinion matters.

Sure you can, maybe we'll find a combination that works.
