Would love to see Red bring in an established ex HC next season

Lose by 50?
When did a Nolan Richardson team lose by 50? Trapping
pressing, fast break scoring, constant pressure with 12 guys rotating in and out. I see that as what style of play that would suit Red. That's how he played the game.

While I’m suspicious of where we presently are headed, there is no denying recruiting has ticked upward.
I think we all need a bigger sample size to draw any meaningful conclusions.
I’m in no way suggesting Red is John Thompson, but Thompson’s teams had a way of being significantly different animals in February.
Time has a way of bringing things more into focus.
I’m still solidly in Red’s Camp, way too early to panic or understand where we are ultimately heading.
I’m not looking for NCAA’s this year but hope that could happen, I do look for a positive trend line as a marker for the future.

Let’s run the triangle offense, Phil Jackson has a couple handful of rings to show for it

Not the biggest Seth Greenberg fan, but I wonder if he’d consider, in a Martelli role. I get that it’s obv still early, but it would be nice to have someone like that helping Red really learn the HC ropes.
Red a grown ass man. He don't need no one to hold his hand.

He's doing just fine. His team is winning, growing and improving - as is Red.

straughn is strictly there to recruit. And looks like he may be a good addition in that dept. But, ya, it’s not like Gerry or Griff have been world beaters
You go to practice and watch what he does there? Because I've read that he's very much into analytics and specializes in offensive principles, sets and devising offensive strategies - he's not just a recruiter.

Lots of unnecessary complaining about an effective new Coach/Staff with a young team and a 5-2 record - w/ a great HS class that they recruited & signed lined up to come in and build upon the foundation they're laying this season.

Patience my man. Patience. Red good.

The good news about Red is this: the offense was horrible, but then Red said he's been focusing on defense and barely practiced offense, and then after that the offense and ball movement got better, so the bad play doesn't necessarily mean Red is incapable. He's got a long way to go, but he's brand new and should improve every week this year as he learns.
