You wouldn't say that if you were a player. He is great for them. Have you ever heard of any Boras client that went broke or had trouble with money? Not just the mega stars. Also, you hate him and not the players he reps and that is just what he and they want. It wasn't X that left us it was his awful agent that forced him to leave us.

I'm confused. If money is involved, are we talking about NIL or an allotment from their revenue share pool? (Or both) If NIL, don't those deals need to be approved by the accounting board? The larger the deal, the greater the chance they will say it isn't a legitimate business arrangement, I would think. What is the situation with NIL and high school recruits now? Are kids going to end up at schools and have their "promised" deals evaporate because they were never realistic?

If the clearinghouse is a real thing (said tongue in cheek) than the strategy is/has to be the aggregation of many smaller deals rather than one big donor deal that represents a greater approval risk.

Of course I wouldn’t say that if I was a player, I wouldn’t care what he was doing knowing he’d be making me millions of dollars. He just sucks because he drags out every major free agent signing. In the eyes of a player yes he’s great at his job.

Perhaps it is not a great idea to not try to win every game. This is why you start Collins or Carney (on a short leash with Collins waiting in the wings). Starting Filardi and having 50 yards of passing is a turn off for fans, much less future players.

and with all the Oregon coordinators moving on, I think he should be patient with this stuff. That said, he could be suggesting that he is the reason for Russell to SU in the first place and trying to land a new post.
