Okay, here's my take. If Calvin decides another school is a better fit, due to roster, coaching staff, NIL/revenue-share, location, etc., so be it. I wish him well. What I didn't like was him saying all fall that he was locked in with Syracuse, and his recruitment was done, etc. If you're unsure, just say you love Fran Brown, but don't say that other stuff. I get he's a kid, and I'm not bashing him, but I also thought his taking the mic at the signing ceremony at MN was a bad look. Takes away from the other kids who signed, including his teammate (TH), who signed with Syracuse. I hope Calvin sticks with Syracuse. Candidly, I'm kinda over the drama, though. WRs in the portal with more experience are fine by me...

One thing I will say to the kids defense is there have been a lot of coaching changes recently maybe a school he wanted to go to wasn't in on him before and now with a coaching change they are or now they are more interesting with a change

It’s more that he has a feel for the game. He displayed it there. He’s shown already for us he can make the reads and throws we need him to make. He’s a great fit for our offense.

He is already throwing. And had the best doctor in the country do his surgery. I’ll take those chances any day.

And not for nothing but making the correct reads and accurate throws is…kind of a big deal after we’ve seen QBs who cannot do it. At all.

Steve made some outstanding throws into tight coverage in the red zone, especially down on the goal line. He was confident and precise. I'm grateful for that.

Its hard to believe a 5 star recruit would stay committed to CUSE after witnessing multiple games like that to end the season...I really hope stays with us but football was a total disgrace last year

Nothing impresses a WR like 1 completed pass in the first half. It seems like the goal for the last 4 games was a bet to see whether we could get the Game 12 attendance under 5,000. The leading passer in each game for us combined for 272 passing yards in 4 games (39, 85, 83, and 65). By comparison, COLLINS passed for 279 yards against SMU. Not Angeli... Collins. The guy we bash. Sure, he was part of that against Miami... but its not like he got a chance to play a game against a sub .500 team either (like FIlardi's games against UNC and BC).

Nobody will ever talk me out of the last 4 games of this season being the worst coaching effort I have ever seen in almost 50 years. GRob was foolishly trying to set snowballs on fire and Shafer was screaming profanity at Dabo for some unknown reason... but this one took the cake.

If he was a 2*, I think the kid deserves a few more days to think this through...
