it's easy to say that the season has something to do with this limbo. Pure speculation, I honestly think we could be in the exact same situation right now if we were waiting to play in the ACC championship game in Charlotte. Situations changed at two schools he was seriously considering before he committed to Syracuse. Those coaching situations changing could also lead to those schools changing there offers specifically to him that may end up being more lucrative and in a different ball park than what Syracuse was in when he committed. It seemed based on yesterday press conference, Fran seemed like they are going to do whatever they can to close and I'm assuming that means to get into that ballpark to where Calvin can come here without the risk of resentment that he turned down significantly better offers the first time he faces adversity because they'll be moments of adversity wherever he goes. It's harder to deal with that adversity if you develop resentment at the place your playing. Based on the agent comments, it seems like Syracuse on an fairly even playing field with the other offers would still be the spot that he will sign. For Syracuse, I'm assuming the limit they would go for regarding Calvin is as high as they can without sacrificing quality in key portal additions at starting spots that they were planning to fill.Calvin russel attended the UNC game...that was the quietest most boring game ive ever attended and ive seen a lot of cuse games. Its hard to believe a 5 star recruit would stay committed to CUSE after witnessing multiple games like that to end the season...I really hope stays with us but football was a total disgrace last year
