Maturity? Spoiler alert: High school kids are immature.

Loyalty? Not a top priority in this new era of NIL and the portal. “It’s just business”. If the $ numbers are close, then I think relationships help and Fran/Russell have built that from everything I’ve read on here.

The PR angle makes a lot of sense. Hope he signs!

I don't think there's any damage done to his brand. Maybe a few fans on a message board care, but no one else will once he signs.

That is easier said than done though. We have a deal with this kid. I think he honors it and we will all be very happy he does. If however, he doesn't, no guarantee that we find top guys at other positions that buy in to us the way this kid has or had.

The portal hasn’t really started yet. All kinds of guys will be available to help with positions of need. I’m just bracing for the bad news and how we can quickly transition into actually fixing a broken team with the newfound NIL cash
