Miami has always been the favorite. But this is one I’m not counting out until he’s enrolled at the U.

We have Fran Brown, and Fran wants Russel and we know Calvin really likes and appreciates Fran Brown and what we have to offer.

Yeah. He has been here to Syracuse a lot already. But seems unlikely we get him without a summer OV.
He keeps a lot of things private though so we may not know he is visiting until there are reports of him on campus. Have to assume there would be a Miami official date in there sometime as well. Other places he could OV at would be possibly Michigan?

I am backfilling, but if he and one other top WR we are after commit, Fran might be able to flip a previoulsy committed (highly rated) QB to come along.
It like when JB was at the high of his recruiting prowess: We had a chance on everyone.

Seems like from prior visits (think he has been here at least twice) he seemed to share some pretty positive vibes and his mom was all in on the Cuse gear second time around. Gotta believe Fran connected well with the family. Pretty sure he shared some promising comments with some board fans. If you told me he would be committing I just wouldn't be surprised. Having Russell, Gough and the kid out of Delaware I think is a great WR haul. Bet Russell would try playing hoops as well. Hoping Russell is the next commit!

This made me go over to their board and read about their thoughts on Russell. As soon as it became clear that there would be competition to land him from other schools (Syracuse), some of their board members immediately started to call him overrated, others were saying he wasn’t considering Syracuse anymore (lol), and some like cali315phan was saying were admitting that he seems like he’ll be heading to Syracuse. The funniest thing I read though was when someone on that board posted a picture from a 247 sports article saying that Syracuse is in a very good spot for Russell and the coaches believe the same, and some of their members were saying Russell isn’t considering Cuse and that there was no chance he’d go here lol. Sorry for the long reply, just a few things that stood out to me that I’d thought I’d share!
