Class of 2024 WR Emanuel Ross (NJ) COMMITTED / SIGNED NLI TO SYRACUSE (12/13/23)

On3 released their final 2024 rankings today. Ross is 118th nationally now. Wow!
They also have him as the 19th best WR in the class and #2 player in NJ.

Looks fast, very strong and physical. Can see why they liked to send him on reverses so often. He has a protypical build for a 6'-2" kid. Can go up and get it and come down with it. Has a very high ceiling and with his physical tools could see the field early. Didn't see a lot in his highlights in regards to route running though so its possible he may need a year to work on that before taking the field too much but that would just be speculation. This kid should be good early. Its really nice to pick up kids that you don't have to wait for them to develop physically.

23-24 Senior Season:
48 receptions for 718 yds and 11 TD's
22 carries for 380 yd and 3 TD's

yeah, any list of potential WRs making a difference better include this kid. We haven't seen a recruit like this at the position is a long while
ESPN and On3 have him much higher than 247 and Rivals do. On those sights he is a border line 4 star player.
His composite is an 88 on 247 and Hatcher's was an 87 back when he signed a few years ago. Just wanted to add that as a reference point.

Who is the Buffoon doing the rating for 247 that only have him at an 88? Oh never mind.

Ross is the kind of player where you put him in for certain plays. With his speed you use him in an end around situation while he learns to play wideout. It gets him on the field and you utilize his speed.
