The headlines are causing me hysterical laughter lol. As well as the overreactions we're seeing and about to see here about what this means. This is “unique and bizarre” to say the least. On the positive side for those who care about social media - Instagram post has 115k likes, 3000 positive comments and almost a million views in under 2 hours. So I guess bringing eyeballs to the program is occurring that’s for sure. On the other side- this feels like a circus act. Hes 25 years old, hasn’t played since high school and can’t imagine will ever play in a game. So I really hope there was no scholarship wasted here. I can’t imagine Fran doing that, but this is a wild one
Better be a walk on player
Eh, kind of, you CAN offer a scholarship to all 105 guys, Syracuse has stood pat at 85 and I don't see that changing, there are still players not on Scholarship right now.Walk ons are a thing of the past.
Good finish to the season, you agree bud?relax, it is a good PR move, and we will get some players outta this. Portal is the most important part of the off season here...
I’m with ya the more I think about this. Kids are kids and this dude is a famous rapper who they all listen to. And now they have a chance to go play with him. I wonder how he can raise money too because he has been talking about how much he loved Fran and cuse on podcasts for a long time. I’m excited to see this play outNot much different to when USC offered Romeo Miller, etc. We have room, who cares. Do something to get more eyes on the program.
Leave your boomer comments at the door.
Yep and he told him on a previous podcast how much he loved Fran. I just didn’t think he would actually join a team let alone our team lolHe was at the game with Rencher, the former Clemson DB who has a podcast. I assumed they were filming something together as part of a PR move.

Yup. I was hoping he was visit to donate money or to help raise it. The fact that it’s a Cuse guy coming back home makes it even more compelling for Fran’s pitch and focus on the northeast.Yep and he told him on a previous podcast how much he loved Fran. It would seem to a certain demographic, definitely.Famous?
