Of the Johnsons, losing Nykiem last year probably hurt more.
Hoping he got his Cuse degree and good luck moving forward Sharod!
Interesting that he thinks Devaughn Cooper is back. I thought he was out of eligibility, but he wasn't mentioned as a graduating senior.
He does have another year, think he got a Med redshirt or something along the way.
But what if you lose your Johnson in the portal…hmmm…It’s never a good situation when you lose your Johnson.
Arizona:
2016: Injured in training camp and redshirted
2017: Played
2018: Played
UTEP
2019: Redshirted
2020: Played (Covid)
Syracuse:
2021: Played
2022: ???
I guess if he was granted a waiver because his injury in 2016 was pre-season, then we're good to go.

Seeing that breakdown, presumably the 2019 season he had to sit out as a transfer. And if 2020 is a wash due to COVID, then he's only played 3 seasons that count -- two at Arizona, and 1 at Syracuse.
Which would give him 1 year of eligibility remaining.
First person that complains gets banned until Spring practice.
(if I were King for a day)
If Cooper is back, I think it might be better to play Jackson outside. That is depending on whether or not a get a portal WR and also whether or not a few young guys emerge in the Spring. Pena and Cooper showed something last year. Would hate to see them buried behind Jackson while our other WRs do nothing.
BTW will we really have 16 WRs on roster next year? What kind of roster management is that?

I count 10 scholarship wide receivers with 1 committed recruit
Looks like we have a bunch of walk ons there so 11 isn't that much. Glass half full 8 of those guys will be Soph or Frosh. That bodes well for the future. But not so much for next season. How do we have only 3 upperclassmen, and ones that will not be major contributors?
