It was good enough for us to be a pretty decent team if we remained healthy at QB. But probably not as good as it needs to be to be elite. From the outside, the spring infusion of talent was likely a last minute thing when the staff didn’t feel good about what we had. Is it possible football took a hit to increase our ability to compete in basketball? If so, basketball needs to be good.

Demote EROB and if he won’t take the demotion, dump him. Gotta retain Antoine, Samuel, Jobbity, Willis, Cook etc and like you said, keep the recruits. Then spend some cash and upgrade all over the place

So typical we got a glimpse of what could be last year. To now be right back to the norm. I’m so over this universities programs. If anyone thinks red is turning the basketball team around you’re nuts. Su cant play in big time sports anymore. How can a legit football team not have a viable backup. It’s laughable to bring in a qb like Collins and pay him more than most people on this board make and then tell us how good he is when we are all watching this train wreck. The fans of this team should be getting nil for the abuse we put ourselves through year in and year out. We are the dumbest collection of people around.

I said that and was criticized. You see it on returns. We cannot get to the 25… we had one returned to the 9!

The short yardage makes little sense. Stop with the QB sneaks, especially when you need 2 yards. We haven't executed any of them.

Twice we got down to the 1 and for some reason went hurry up when we need to be calm. The first one led to the false start. The 2nd one we got lucky on the TD.

Teams are purposefully not getting TBs against us because they can beat our returnee to the 15-20

I don't hate Fran, I hate the way he's currently coaching. That's even worse because we know he's capable of applying the principles of DART but he's not.

Going 10-3 last year does not absolve you of criticism this year.

Well, it’s as simple as it gets. That being, hiring a HC with zero experience at that position, and, especially one at a P4 level school. Learning on the job at this level is, IMO, gross negligence at the superior management position.

Additionally, IMO, considering that superior manager (AD) hadn’t ever hired anyone at this particular position before, along with his 1st hiring of same at the other revenue sport (hoops side), it’s really not too difficult to comprehend.
