Him leaving has nothing to do with that. Or at least, very, very littleWhat he said back in November about coming in and getting guys ready to perform at a level they weren’t at last offseason.

That’s concerning that it was a culture fit. Is the standard at Cuse to low?
I was just asking a question and curious, but I do think it’s extremely concerning that he might have left over culture fit.Him leaving has nothing to do with that. Or at least, very, very little
True for sure - but Yasin's numbers don't jump off the page, either. Granted, you could chalk it up to scheme, OL, etc. but 129 carries for 558 yards, 4 TDs and 9 catches doesn't exactly say Sean Tucker lol
Yep.^^This^^!!! So glad I was around to witness the late 80’s and 90’s. You could follow the the team and the players every year through their career and identify with them. Not any more. Hate what college football has become.
Just cheering or the jersey now, and whoever is in it
If you read between the lines it sounds like Willis might have been the one making the decision.I was just asking a question and curious, but I do think it’s extremely concerning that he might have left over culture fit.
Really? Why is it extremely concerning? Sometimes whether it is sports or business, people want to do things that don't mesh with what their coach or their employer wants them to do. Doesn't mean anyone is a good or bad guy.I was just asking a question and curious, but I do think it’s extremely concerning that he might have left over culture fit.
I would 100% disagree with that.If you read between the lines it sounds like Willis might have been the one making the decision.
Ok. I didn’t read between the lines very well. Haha.I would 100% disagree with that.
I understand that, but I’m wondering — was the culture too tough for him, or was it the opposite? It’s something I’ll probably never know.If you read between the lines it sounds like Willis might have been the one making the decision.
LOLOk. I didn’t read between the lines very well. Haha.
Flashing vs consistency, not dropping passes and not getting penalties called on him. That’s your opinion, and I respect it. Personally, I think he flashed some elite traits — especially with the way he made his cuts once the offensive line opened things up. That huddle moment in the Duke game stood out, and his play against Clemson spoke for itself. It’s wild how people forget how much of a monster he was versus Tennessee. I really hope Fran can convince him not to enter the portal.
Yeah, but he was just talking about coming back next year, and now he leaves, potentially over culture? Things don’t usually happen that quickly — it went from one extreme to the other. Something must have happened. I just think Willis is an NFL-caliber running back who could go in the top three rounds. I really hope he withdraws his name and stays — he has great production and tremendous potential.Really? Why is it extremely concerning? I’m not trying to make excuses for this kid, but he’s just not a pass-catching back — and not every running back needs to be. Look at Derrick Henry.Flashing vs consistency, not dropping passes and not getting penalties called on him.
It does if you can replace your “good” recruits.Does being a good recruiter matter if all your good recruits leave?
Yeah, he hasn’t developed that skill.I’m not trying to make excuses for this kid, but he’s just not a pass-catching back — and not every running back needs to be. Look at Derrick Henry.
Do his injuries play into this, I think he's had an uncomfirmed concussion or two.
Hope he has a great career, as long as it's not at Pitt.
Always seemed to need another gear and was hoping he would find it this off season.
He’ll most likely be training with Troy James next week to work on taking it to the next level. I have a feeling he’s going to be a monster next season, no matter what team he ends up on.

You mean too high? That’s concerning that it was a culture fit. Is the standard at Cuse to low?
