I agree. But, we need a few things for next year. Another QB, hopefully Angeli is good to go, but we need a QB2. We need someone to replace Mark Coyle as someone to help ERob with the defense. Maybe it is Mark Coyle, but we need someone to help ERob. Obviously we need other things like experienced DL. 2026 can be REALLY special, but we need to address certain things. I have faith in Fran to address them.

It will be interesting to see if any of the young guys get some run those last 4 games if they haven't used up the 4 game bonus. Kids 2-3 months into the system might offer some help in short bursts by Nov. We need to find 2 more wins so those shots late in the season mean something

Losing Angeli ruined the season but the thought of having him for 2 years going forward is promising - regardless, losing by 35 to Duke at home is not moving forward - you are kidding urself - there is not 50 yards in front of us - we have 99 yards in front of us with 30 secs - I don’t know what to make of Clemson - I see UCONN managed to escape Buffalo - beating UCONN was a fluke and they suck

NIL I don't think will take any hit at all, I believe the offseason hype will be real.

The leagues leading passer went down at the top of his game and still will get his redshirt so he has 2 years. A more manageable schedule next year along with our 1st 5 stay guy in the modern era in Calvin if he sticks will lead to actually more NIL in my opinion. I think Fran will get what he asks for again. Ideally we figure some way to keep Nixon but that may be tough. Assume we can retain most of the staff though.

No doubt about it though Attendance will nosedive the rest of the year or at least until they bounce back some. That's not tied to NIL though.

Next year Angeli will be back and the season starts with New Hampshire and Toledo in early September to get him on his feet. *Not a road trip to Atlanta to play Tennessee..

But it is a disappointing letdown after a 3-1 start [I know, I know -- Angeli out]. Have stated all along that getting to a bowl against this challenging schedule is a massive win for the program, positioning us well for a huge 2026 -- to your point.

Yeah, I think many hoping that Collins could get us to 6-7 wins after the Clemson win may have been extremely wishful thinking. The defense is what it is and not being able to score in bunches will be problematic. I have a feeling it's going to be a long 7-8 weeks.

I expect the effort to improve but without decent Qb play not holding out much hope.
