My buddy at the game thinks it could be as many as 31k

Not only do we sometimes get 30K at a game, but we do it often enough that our fans are very good at estimating which sections need to be full/half full/etc to get to the number. It's very impressive.

No. We lose because they are games on the road.

NCAA Tourney games are neutral games in bigger arenas that we are used to and other teams aren't.

Odom pointed out the refs lack of consistency on calling the moving screens. At least Odom has raised his analysis level to mediocre this half. He was just awful commenting on the Atlanta game.

It's certainly harder to win in a little bubble like GT's place with a raucous crowd right on top of you than it is to win on a neutral court in a big arena where most of the fans are either indifferent or are your own fans.

Have we utilized Lydon's versatility once at the end of a half? I don't think he has taken a shot at the end of a half all year.

Last year, I remember he hit 3 or 4 threes at the buzzer before halftime.

Why was Roberson on the court so much in the 1st half? Thompson took a bad shot and was riding the bench after that. He seemed more effective on defense than Roberson too.

Gillon is horrid in those situations as far as managing the clock and situation. He always goes way too soon. Not a second or two too soon...but like 5 seconds too soon.

We have been doing that for 10 years. JB coaches it so we have time to get an offensive board. Problem is we haven't had an offense board in that situation EVER.

I didnt know who the announcers were. Odom certainly has been impressive, considering it wasnt that long ago he was married to a Kartrashian(though the least trashy), and technically dead in a Nevada whorehouse. I root extra hard for a hard living guy like that, kinda like I do for Coleman...though not in the "Corky" way the one poster said about Coleman. Go Odom, LGO!!!

Thompson legitimately ran away from the guy cutting on an under the basket inbounds play. Like...he ran across the lane to where we already had a defender and left a huge area under the basket wide open that a guy happened to be cutting to. Flat out incompetent.

I hear ya. Normally that is the case however the losses this season don't give me too much confidence in any road game.

Imagine our record with a crowd like other teams have! That crowd was RAUCOUS!! Really think it took out Gillon and others as well with the airball chants, regardless of what they or others on hear claim. That crowd won the game for Tech!!!(and Lammers season high or whatever...like we tend to give about every other game)

Point taken. But Roberson has not done well either and when he is on the court it is 4 on 5 on offense. Everything considered, up 12 at the half with Heath with 3 fouls and Okogie with 2 -- I'll take it. Lydon playing well on defense. Keep Jackson from going wild and it will be looking good.
