I got rid of my Twitter accounts a few months ago. My guess is these accounts are recent additions with just a few followers.Yeah I didn't get the logic there. There's another account claiming to be his Dad reacting to stuff too
Yeah and both of these accounts appear to have been created today. Maybe they just want to protect their son but this is quite odd.Yeah I didn't get the logic there. There's another account claiming to be his Dad reacting to stuff too
The whole thing is very weird now. I get parents protecting their kid but that is just weird. To me, it seemed Fran was protecting their kid who had issues but what do I know. Fran and SU were giving him a free education even.Yeah and both of these accounts appear to have been created today. Maybe they just want to protect their son but this is quite odd.
Now? The whole thing has been weird for a while lol.The whole thing is very weird now. I get parents protecting their kid but that is just weird. To me, it seemed Fran was protecting their kid who had issues but what do I know. Fran and SU where giving him a free education even.
I’m not sure how you protect your son by being toxic on social media but whatever.Yeah and both of these accounts appear to have been created today. Maybe they just want to protect their son but this is quite odd.
So, you’re of the mind that both parents decided today to start X accounts and tweet negatively about Fran? The whole thing is very weird now. Who knows… maybe fake accounts from other teams trying to make Fran look bad? Anyone’s guess. So, you’re of the mind that both parents decided today to start X accounts and tweet negatively about Fran?
I thought it was 105 roster spots. I don’t think scholarships matter anymore. I think scholarships are in fact required to be maintained when a player loses or relinquishes their spot on the team.I'm going to pose a glass half full thought, he told Fran he was done so he wasn't coming back regardless, that said SU was still honoring his scholarship for the remainder of his time on the hill. Zeed leaving frees up a scholarship and helps us get closer to our total number. It’s a net positive at this point.

We need to shed roster spots. Scholarships don’t matter. Zeed is not on the roster. Walk-ons are (for now).If I have correctly kept up with the fishes and loaves i believe we are currently over that limit of 105. If so i believe we need to shed a few more scholarships
When a guy leaves the team and the school honors the scholarship, I don't believe it counts against the scholarship or roster count, whichever matters. So really it's a net neutral.I'm going to pose a glass half full thought, he told Fran he was done so he wasn't coming back regardless, that said SU was still honoring his scholarship for the remainder of his time on the hill. His entire family traveled to the UNLV game (or at least a large number) and I don’t believe he was even there. So I don’t know. The more I reflect on the situation the more I think the kid was just depressed or home sick or something simple (yet complicated) like that.
Saying a kid retired is a lot better than "I kicked him off the team."
Can’t expect Fran to sit on his doorstep like a puppy dog in love hoping for a date. Zeed was with the team the whole year and played 2 games and wasn’t injured. Writing was on the wall.If he was booted and wanted to continue playing football then he would've portaled in December.
My guess is that he didn't want to play football anymore, or wasn't committed to it. It happens. Now he might realize he's got nothing and needs to get paid.
I wish him the best.
So odd. He immediately had some impact on the field, was clearly looking like a top wr in our offense and now… he simply has a big question mark surrounding him. I hope he gets where he needs to be for his future to be bright. It’s sad to see talent just not put the pieces together in some fashion. I don’t know his story and don’t need to, in all accounts he is a bright young man and there must’ve been unknown hurdles that were too big in his time here.Doesn’t seem like he has been picked up yet. Strange situation.
