Zero benefit to playing FCS teams

If the NCAA would rule that a win vs. an FCS team doesn't count toward bowl eligibility it would stop. But that's not going to happen. Too many FBS teams (including us) want to pick up a cheap win or two to ensure bowl eligibility plus it's a way to get an additional home game without having to give a return visit that most FBS schools would demand.
And the FCS teams desperately need these "payday games" to subsidize their athletic programs.
 
All of whom will require a home-and-home return date.
Tulane and FIU, yes. Idaho, probably no. We played them in 2011 and we're not going out there.
