Being a member of the ACC is like sitting in Oprah’s studio audience. In the end, you’ll always be a winner. “You get an NCAA Tournament bid! AND YOU get an NCAA Tournament bid! AND YOU get a…”

The last time a conference program didn’t make the NCAA Tournament was in 2013, after Virginia finished below .500. Prior to that you’d have to go back to 2006, when Duke was forced to cancel its season and UNC finished 4-10, for major ACC absences from the postseason (Syracuse famously missed the tournament in 2007, but was an independent at the time).

Heading into this season, all five programs are ranked in the top eight nationally in the preseason Cascade/Maverik Media Poll, and all are a threat for the national championship. Some ACC programs are just more threatening than others.

How about the record predictions? UVA and Cuse both going to be 0-4 in league play huh? They play eachother. Duke going to be 1-3? They play the 0-4 Cuse and the 0-4 UVA soooooooo:bat::bat::bat::bat:
