2023-24 NBA Season

And the best player in California, and the history of the NBA, is 57-year-old LeBron Freakin’ James.
Must be nice to be in the easiest group in the entire field. And they haven’t even played the Jazz yet.

The Kings are the best team in California. Sabonis absolutely dominated AD Wednesday night.
The so-called experts picked them to finish last in the Pacific for no reason other than they can’t name more than four players on the roster.

Golden St - OKC is a great back and forth game -- going to OT.

With about 23 seconds left, Holmgren missed a lay up to give OKC the lead. Curry missed a fairly easy paint flip (for him) with about 5 seconds left... Holmgren should have been able to grab the board but did not... Wiggins gets the ball and hits the 3 with 1.6 seconds left. 117-114 GS (Holmgren is sort of the goat at this point at the end, despite having an outstanding game of 32 points)

Then Holmgren hits the game tying 3 at the buzzer. 117-117. Off to OT.

I turned off the game after Wiggins’ three. Schmuck. Great shot, great night for Holmgren (36 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists) and Gilgeous-Alexander (40 points, 10 in OT).

The West is loaded.

Kyrie wants to be The Man so bad. Love Kyrie, the baller, but I would never put him in the same league as Muhammad Ali & Nelson Mandela, neither of whom questioned the veracity of the Holocaust, the value of vaccinations nor that the Earth is round.

BS call by the NBA to overturn the last play of the Jazz/Suns game in Double OT.

I have zero clue if this tweet is from a legit source. But good luck at moving what may have already turned into a really bad contract (3/96 left AFTER this year, $32m/y) without taking some bad crap in return.

He might be a good guy (or not, no clue) but his lack of IQ / doing stupid things and inconsistent effort has to be a distraction to a rebuilding team.

Congratulations to the refs for absolutely handing the game to the Clips over the Rockets . Kawhi is apparently allowed to commit more felonies than his sister in a casino before he’s called for a foul

And here’s a beaut from Paul George that wasn’t called. I guess the radius an ulna are part of the ball.

The refs for the Lakers game said, “Hold my beer.”

Brooks was an idiot for going for that steal with only 4 seconds left . Just make lebron shoot it over you . That’s a 50/50 proposition. Fouling him there is game over

I think moving on from him at some point was always going to be the plan barring a miracle. Question is if his start to the season has accelerated that plan or not. For now, he’s an entertaining tank commander on a team with no hope and no excitement. Would be nice if he can remember how to shoot at some point.

This is very frustrating. 3 years of the rockets absolutely crapping and now they finally have a good team but of course … no name guys so this year at least they must also play against NBA refs.

Just lost three in a row in California by a total of 12 pts and really should have won 2.. and could have won all 3.. save for zebras .

In the three games the Rockets shot 43 fewer throws than their opponents.

Golden State shot 33 free throws to the Rockets 19. This despite the Rockets scoring 56 points in the paint vs a paltry 18 for GSW. How does that make ANY sense ?

This year will be written off to the refs for sure. Next year we might get some calls.

There's a hilarious clip I saw of him from last night (I think?) where he did the let the ball roll before picking it up after a made basket to keep the shot clock from starting thing, but he also thought it kept the game clock from starting! (they were down 10 with about 4 min left when this happened)

Which two should they have won?

If the plan was to flip him for assets, the Wiz may have already lost the gamble. As of now, I would suspect he is viewed as a negative value contract around the league due to its size and his play I would think that his play this year has done the opposite of accelerating the opportunity to move him.

You could trade him for bad contracts in return, or attach futures to get rid of him. None of them really make sense for the Wiz,

I think the Wiz are stuck with him as a tank commander and have to hope he starts playing better.
