Donny Scott, Kellogg, and Hottle all may have a chance??Great to see Trey Deere on this list, I think Jake Spallina is also a highly likely selection. Wonder if any players other than them make it
Maltz still has a year after this one? Brennan?Nice to see, Elijah Stobaugh and Sean Creter on the list for the Terps.
I don't post on fanlax anymore, but I do read the Terp thread, and about 10 days or so ago, Hopfan16 felt he had to come on the Terps thread and say that the Terps didn't have much coming in. I would point out to him, that Matt Collison was the only the #27 freshman last year, and here we have Stobaugh ranked maybe a little higher. Stobaugh brings a big lefty shot, something the Terps could really use.
That being said. I have been pretty impressed with the play of Thomas Gravino for Victor. He seems very dynamic - athletic and an outstanding dodger.
The Terps only lose Kyle Long from the offense after this season and get Eric Malever back from injury, so it could be tough for the incoming freshmen to get on the field.

Got it. Would say that they don't need too much on offense out of this years recruiting class in that case. Then again it has not been the best offensive year for MD. Erksa is a really good one. Probably the best looking freshman besides Spallina this year. Could be a big portal conquest coming up from Tilman this offseason. 2022 everyone in basically the top 8 was trouble for a defense when initiating 1v1. This year even their biggest threats have been inconsistent there. Some fanlax guys keep saying the shooting has gotten worse, which is true, but I think a bigger factor is the shots they do get are from lower percentage spots due to less match up nightmares this year.Brennan listed as a redshirt senior but I think he has two years of eligibility left (freshman in 2020 Covid Year and he was hurt 2021).
Maltz was a freshman in 2020 so he has another year left.
Should be interesting to see how many "true" seniors from all teams decide to use their extra year of eligibility. Players have had time to plan their schedules around this extra year but losing 2020 is less of a shock now.
Be surprised if Scott doesn't make the cut. Only 4 poles after 2 waves. Inside Lax has him at #23 overall and the #3 D in the 2023 class. Saw the Lawrenceville vs Hill Academy game this past weekend. Big Red won by a goal but this guy dominated the defense for The Hill. He even scored a goal from 10 yards off GLE against a 10 man ride.Donny Scott, Kellogg, and Hottle all may have a chance??
Jake Spallina, Mount Sinai (N.Y.), Syracuse
