B1G and SEC form joint advisory committee

Curious on who is going to play the part of Italy in this scenario.

Not quite. But it is heading there quickly.
Right. There's only 16-20 teams that have spending resources to compete for a title. And even then you could probably eliminate 5-10 on any given season for a variety of reasons.

It's real special having the head coach of the team who's been in the championship game 6 out of the last 9 years to warn us of the upcoming caste system in college football. FOH.
You can look at it a number of ways.

That he’s arrogant being the fortunate recipient of being in the top of the caste system for so long OR if he was worried after all his success at the top of the heap then most every program should be worried OR if he thinks it’s the demise of college football knowing that the SEC-B10 consolidation maneuver is going to make it even worse because who are these teams going to beat up but each other every year to reach the top so they will suffer too OR all of the above.

He, as much as anyone, knows that the money has corrupted any semblance of fair play in building teams, developing players and dealing with influential boosters. He probably wishes he was back in Syracuse coaching DBs. :)

Because he benefited from that caste system, we should listen to him when he warns the stakeholders in college athletics that it’s only going to get worse with the have-and-have-nots and competitive balance becoming even more skewed.

It's already been worse is my point. It's been bad for 20 years now and no one at Alabama gave a damn.

I had a coworker who was from Bama and a graduate. He would sheepishly complain that they got boring to follow. He'd say it's hard to get excited about watching a game that's over by the end of Q1. Sure he was happy the were winning and wouldn't want to trade but ...

I'm sure there are many fans like this and the leaders at Bama know full well about it. Is it a game if its not really a game?
