Do you guys have a group coming to the Dome this year? In November, you might get to see a little snow. It would be fun to get together for a few and b.s.

The player should be forced to sit for a quarter or even an half before being allowed to return.

Overkill. Stingers happen. I've had a few of those in my time. A four play minimum wouldn't be unreasonable, but would be difficult to keep track of for refs. If the clock is forced to stop, should be minimum 4 play absence.

Great to hear (?), lol. I think those must have been the same Clemmies that sat behind me a couple seasons ago at the Dome (after some SU "Fans" sold their souls). Quite amazing how loud, obnoxious, and insulting they were (at least one fight ensued, and one of them was escorted out of the arena). But I give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume they were unrepresentative bottom feeders. I look forward to meeting all those polite Clemson fans I've heard about.

Why? I think it makes sense for two reasons: 1) It addresses the fake injury issue by penalizing anyone who fakes an injury and 2) it helps with the recent initiatives to protect injured players, including those who might have head injuries -- this way the medical staff won't feel rushed to perform the concussion protocol so the player can pass and get back on the field --- they can take their time with the injured player are really observe them before being allowed to return.

A lot of small injuries just need a minute or two of "walking it off" to get better. Haven't you ever turned an ankle that required you to walk around for a minute for the pain to subside and then you could resume normal activity? It's happened to me several times. Another example, a dislocated finger can be fixed in about 30 seconds on the sideline with no long-term danger to the player. If he can stand the pain, why not let him play?

No worries. I know how it works .. there are some SU "fans" in the same boat. I just happened to be sitting in an unlucky section 2 seasons ago (near folks I thought were loyal STH's). At any rate, by most accounts, the SU fans who went down to Clemson returned with glowing reports about how politely they were greeted (the booing incident notwithstanding).

I think the first point is valid. My suggestion that the player sit out an extended period (1/4 or a 1/2) would only be required when the game is stopped to attend to an injured player. So the minor injuries like stingers, dislocated fingers and some cramps wouldn't come into play assuming the player can make it to the sidelines.

The money's not worth it, unless you're desperate (or not really a fan in the first place, as you point out).
