I honestly can't see things like this changing. I'm sure in the day of 3 sources you had a little more time to get facts in order. Nowadays you run the risk of getting scooped because information and access is out there more. I would imagine in certain publications they would rather run the risk of being wrong or partLy wrong to get the scoop
