Funny, I was gonna mention that aspect of LeBron and Chalmers' relationship in Miami. Mario probably had it coming.

Kevin Love would probably welcome the acquisition of Mario Chalmers.

It's a 2 man team and KP has been out. Melo missed a game during this skid too, and got tossed from another.

They certainly do suck without one of them available. I think they'll right the ship with KP back, but ultimately this is a .500 team give or take, talent-wise.

They are the worst defensive team I have ever seen, I was expecting them to be barely above 500, but they should not be losing at home to the Magic and Bucks.

Any team that starts Lance Thomas and Sasha Vucejic when someone else is hurt...no loss they have surprises me. Those guys are barely NBA players. They need Melo and KP out there, 100%, and playing at peak level to have a chance. Rose has been decent, much better than last year in Chicago. Noah can bring it about once a week at this point. Courtney Lee is the epitome of an average, mediocre NBA two guard for better or worse. Jennings is a solid backup PG. That's all they got! They should be thrilled if they make the playoffs.

Melo makes the go ahead 3, and the Knicks pull it out down the stretch with KP and Noah fouled out. Melo with 26 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds. Played 39 minutes and the whole 4th quarter. They knew they had to have this one.

Put Noah on the bench and play Hernangomez and O'Quinn. Baker and Kuzminskis need to play as well. No upside to throwing Noah, Lee and Thomas out there.

Durant and his teammates might welcome Mario, too.

That stretch in the game where KP made a 3, then blocked freak twice on one possession at the other end, then came down and made a 28 foot 3. That is the kind of stuff that makes me weak in the knees.

I know the Bucks are just incredibly young, but their complete inability to close out games is so damn frustrating. This team is playing like a top 8 team in the NBA for 90% games but is hovering around .500 because of that last 10%.

Rose a no-show for Nawlins game tonight, mystery surrounding why, Carmelo gets tossed for third time this season, Anthony Davis goes for 40 and 18, not the Knicks' finest hour. Started to think they'd be better off going with Jennings.

Sources: Derrick Rose's game absence a surprise to Knicks

its one thing to not be able to play anymore. It's another thing to disappear completely off the radar a few hours before game time and end up in chicago when your team was playing in nyc.

Rose is saying it was due to a family matter back in Chicago. Guess we'll see as more details come to light.

Trading for him was a disaster, thankfully its only for a year, Phil needs to retire to his cave in Montana.

Anyone that's paid attention to the Bulls the last few years knew this was the case the moment it happened. Acquiring Rose and signing Noah to a long-term deal were both horrific moves, but at least Rose is an expiring contract.

If only someone (ME) was against both of those moves from the start
