I think they played pretty good today. They have been run blocking well. Their pass protection has been decent. GS has been holding it to long and scrambling into the pressure

Why not, one can fuel the other. Poor performance can lead to or be caused by poor effort, just like high effort can/can be fueled by an over performance.
