Score, defend, rebound.

Simple formula for victory. Easier said than done against Pitt, given recent history, but our boys will be up for the challenge today.

The General writes a logical scenario for the game, as usual. But he's not always right. He said that we needed to avoid the offensive boards vs. UNC and get back to stop their fast break. We pounded the offensive boards and won the game doing so. It will be interesting to revisit this post after today's game.

The thing that gives me the most hope in this game is that we have our best rebounding team in some time. Over the least decade, Pitt has killed us on the boards. If we can break even, I like our chances. We also need to go after the loose balls like we did against Carolina.

We'll see how much their stripes have changed on defense.

somewhat amazingly i believe pitt has only lost 2 players this season as a result of foul disqualification .
