I read that article too and it's in the POST which is pretty much a tabloid and has a sensationalized view of everything.

Sounds like complete hogwash, do you really think the Jets would confirm any of that article to a reporter no less? Also, there are coaches that have done far worse than quit their job that have been hired with far worse resumes and far more written about them in the paper. Would love to know why the writer didn't name the paper that lead the "smear campaign" that the Jets leadership read that supposedly caused him to not get the job. Wouldn't that have been pbulic and able to name and reference as a source?

Well if they do then that’s why they’re the Browns. Took a 3 win team to 6 wins in year 1, then 7, then won 11 and made the playoffs.

No, don't you get the Doug haters, if the team does well it's because the D is good and he is just the offense guy. If the team does poorly, the buck stops with Doug, he's the head coach after all.

Getting Fowler back a 3rd overall pick and Campbell are two big pieces up front. Ramsey now in 2nd yr was starting to track towards best CB in game end of last yr. They were still 12th in dvoa last year. You can like DM but don't tell us it's reverse engineering Dough-hate to say the defense was set up - everyone who follows the league knew it.

Not just last year, haven't won more than 5 games since 2010 and haven't had a winning season in 10 years.

And he's such a sucky coach that a team that, and this is for the stats geeks, had a SRS of 31st of 32, 32nd, 31st, 30th, and 27th the last five years ( constant Grobian performance in the NFL), is currently 2nd.
