JB talking like were 5 games into the season. He is all over Brandon and the Centers.
Did anyone ask about his sub patterns or his team's shot selection?
and yet he kept him in...what a clownJB talking like were 5 games into the season. He is all over Brandon and the Centers.
there is truth to that, but his coaching hasn't changed one bit.No, lot of questions about Triche. Currently going off on the difficulty of SU's schedule, saying we have the toughest by far.
No options! Can't have only 3 guards on the team! ever!!!and yet he kept him in...what a clown
In '03 the only two true guards we had were McNamara and Edelin. No options! Can't have only 3 guards on the team! ever!!!
Cooney could have played more than he did. JB must take responsibility that these loses are on him. If you get credit for the good you must do the same for the bad. JB hasn't got the job done.No options! Can't have only 3 guards on the team! ever!!!
Cooney is a liability on offense, but then so is half the team. His defense has proven more than adequate all season. I see no legitimate reason not to give him more of a chance. The main problem right now is Boeheim's reluctance to play, and trust, Cooney. Imagine McNamara's growth being stunted because he had to sit behind a legacy recruit.

Pace and Duany were both guards they weren't pg's but they were guards! We have one PG one combo guard, and one 2g. Plus that team had a forward who can dribble...#15 can't remember his name...but he was pretty good!In '03 the only two true guards we had were McNamara and Edelin.

Look up McNamara's freshman stats. He had numerous games where he was awful shooting. He also had numerous games where he was great shooting. Cooney never gets playing time so we'll never know just how good or bad he is.Imagine if Cooney could hit an open 3-pointer with some consistency then maybe he would have played more? when you are recruited to be a shooting guard with range, shooting 27.9% from 3-point land isn't going to get you playing time

Yeah that do Duany guy never did anything for usIn '03 the only two true guards we had were McNamara and Edelin.
Because hall of fame coaches can never be wrong? We'll just have to trust the HOF coach and assistant coaches who see him every day in practice.
That's the way it works.
I said "true guards". Duany could play both the 2 and 3.Yeah that do Duany guy never did anything for us

I think when you compare Cooney to Gmac you lose any type of credibility. Also when say that JB should play player A like HE did with player B maybe HE KNOWS player A is no where as good as player B and it is not that he is UNWILLING to make decision that he has made it the pass.Because hall of fame coaches can never be wrong?
