USC and UCLA to the Big Ten

ESPN is going to make this happen. We will be in 3rd place but it will be a solid third.
Are you hearing this from sources or have there been some story’s or links you have seen? Just curious cause I would love to read them if they are stories. Read one today on the athletic from Mandel about how the Pac and 12 should go to 24 teams and become the clear number 3 and they would make a ton because they would go to open market.

Its all online. Basically its based on the economics.
ESPN is in the middle of an exclusive negotiations window. They want the west coast time period covered and the pac has the content.
The remaining 10 members are not going to the sec or big because they dont add enough economic value.
The ACC has twice the viewers of the Big 12.
The ACC has the network that espn would love to leverage for the pac.
The pac and acc are accretive for all three parties.
The ACC is a much better cultural and Academic fit for the pac than the big 12.

Simply put this partnership works for all three parties

It's still less of a shock than what they will see when they visit Rutgers. The B1G has be thanking God that NYC really is nearby as a selling point for travelling, once UCLA and USC teams and fans visit Rutgers, they would leave the B1G and take most of the conference with them!

Things that make this board a better place: Tomcat, the stories of CaliCuse, the legacy of Orangeyes, PeteCalvin and his mom, the ongoing yet of late very subdued bromance of Millhouse and Chip, and finally the benevolent dictatorship of my beloved Kaiser.

After 25 years of commonlaw marriage, things get subdued. Happens to the best of us.

Wait until they see that block R on Rutgers Stadium. “Simply wow” - RutgersAl

Could Buffalo chips be far behind!

The show even made a visit to campus last year.*

* aired last season, she visited in September of 2021

Bravo must like Syracuse. Josh Altman of Million Dollar Listing LA is a late ‘90’s Syracuse kicker. He talks about it every so often, has a SU helmet in his office, and I’ve seen a few Cuse related overlaps:

Jamie Tebbe is class of ‘97.

Where are you hearing this? I for one welcome getting back on topic.
There is media speculation that ESPN (or another network) will step in (or at least will) and guide the Pac-12 to the ACC as it enables the network to have the larger east/west coast markets, compared to big 12
