A couple of things:

While KU and UNC have seen our zone in the past, they've had little success against it. If Williams hasn't figured it out by now, maybe it's not going to happen. And there's a good chance KU will get knocked out by a double-digit seed anyway, which has become Self's MO.

You guys are placing too much emphasis on Mizzou's RPI. Their SOS was brought down by too many OOC 300+ teams, as well as two games against Texas Tech. Let's not forget common sense and a simple eyeball test. They've been one of the top teams all year and have a bunch of quality wins.

Unlike last year, we won't see a Big East team until the Elite 8 at the earliest.

There was supposed to be a rule that you don't see a member of your own conference until the Sweet 16. We met Marquette in the 2nd round, IIRC, and there were "only" 10 teams from the Big East.

The committee broke their own rule. Unless you have more than 16 teams from 1 conference, there is no need mathematically in terms of placing them in the bracket that that should have happened.

Yes, there's an unwritten rule, but no one ever expected 11 (it was 11) teams from one conference. Can you really blame the committee for taking steps to avoid getting as many as 11 teams from the same conference in the Sweet 16? They worked it so there would be no more than nine.

There probably won't be nine BE teams in the field this year. If anyone does get screwed, I seriously doubt it will be us.
