Hey folks. First post. What on earth happened to Duwayne Johnson? Haven’t heard a peep.

Good question. Experienced player who should be getting some run... unless the younger guys are that good.

What makes you trust Melifonwu and Coley more than Stritz? They're all the same class and have the same amount of game experience in the defensive backfield.

Size and speed mostly. I wasn’t very high on Stritz as a recruit. Then again many here were very high on him. I’ve just liked what limited ive seen from coley and Melifonwu better

I know the staff was experimenting with it in preseason camp. No idea whether it will happen or not. My guess is that Koda might be a little better at pass protection and if so, will get positioned there to try and protect Eric a little more.

*Coley started in place of Foster at strong safety and caused a fumble.
*Fagan was out with injury
*Foster as noted was out
*Richards recovered the fumble cause by Coley
*Dakota Davis is still out
*developing is that Elmore was absent Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I have some good info, a tidbit if you will - McNabb is starting for us this year with E. Davis in the backfield . Don't tell Dabo, tho.

Normally. But I've gotten the sense that "cross training" a big long, near TE guy for the slot and a small, very quick guy on the outside could make matchups a nightmare. Especially with a very good TE chasing issues elsewhere
