2015 NFL season general discussion thread

Pats D gameplan was to be very Manila and not blitz. Force KC to drive the length of the field and give up FGs.
As the Pats O with Edelman/Gronk/Amendola can dink and dunk any pass rush. That was basically the first pats-Bills game tonight.
With no Charles and healthy Maclin KC couldn't stretch the field.
Alex Smith is underrated as a athlete he stretched some plays in the pocket.

Andy Reid is just awful in time management. That ending was pretty much a replay of the SB 39 ending.

I had no idea the Pats had ties to the Philippines. ;) :D

Pats 27 Chiefs 20

Did Eagles fans have Vietnam flashbacks with that last Chiefs drive? I mean What Andy Reid LEARN TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS.

The Pats offense was back to normal with Edelman/Amendola/Gronk back in the lineup. They hadn't looked like that healthy since week 9.

So next week CBS gets there Brady-Manning bowl for the AFC title game.

If the Pats are healthy they should win that game.

Also damn is Alex Smith tough and underrated. That guy played really good but his coach freaking killed them. How they didn't run a play before the 2 minute warning was amazing. It took them 1:27 play clock time to get 1 yard.

Amendola with a cheap shot.

He's a POS

Tom Brady has been to the AFC Championship game 10 of 14 years he has been the starting QB.

I honestly think the Bills going to 4 consecutive Super Bowls is the only more impressive streak in the history of the NFL.

New England @ Denver next week should be an interesting game.
The Pats only had 1 injury today Jamie Collins and he should be able to play next week after therapy.
Last time these played Denver didn't have DeMarcus Ware, Peyton Manning, and TJ Ward got knocked out.
New England didn't have Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, and Donta Hightower and Rob Gronkowski got knocked out.

Should be a good game. I wonder what the point spread will be. I think it will be a pick 'em or 1 point spread.

Poor GB...even in full speed that was pretty obvious pass interference.

OMFG he caught. Or was it punched out?

Does GB go for 2? Go for 2 McCarthy.

What a bleeping throw by Rodgers.

Never had full control.

I guess McCarthy realizes Carson Palmer could gag this in OT.

Also, how the did Rodgers get that throw off. I can't believe Arizona blitzed 6 guys.

This game is nuts. I mean the ref can't even flip the damn coin correctly.

Collinsworth is going nuts.

That was funny

I always forget these NFL OT rules. If the Cards score here is it over? TD? FG?

That is why you go for 2 McCarthy.

Mike McCarthy is he a good coach? Or does he just ride Rodgers? I mean he just doesn't seem elite to me. I don't know.

Y0u have to have some big time balls to do that, how many coaches would go for two in that situation?

In the NFL? Zero.

I did have flashbacks but some of that was on Smith and not all on Reid. Smith was taking his sweet time on that drive. Btw that pass by Brady that was nearly picked at the end may have been the dumbest play call this season. Whoever called that one should have his head examined.
