2016-17 Coaching Carousel

I wonder if Temple OL coach George DeLeone goes with him.

Moorehead's extremely well respected in the coaching community, especially in the NorthEast.
His name got floated last year by Thamel as a good fit for Cuse, even before Shafer got fired.

Dodged one bullet. Will breathe easier when Houston and Oregon make hires.

Would think Temple turns to Joe Moorehead to replace Ruhle.

I think it was the only bullet we needed to dodge. I'm fairly certain the other two are not in the running.

One thing that we all know is DFB is not happy with the lack of institutional support to increase attendance - I don't think this is a surprise to anyone, but when he starts winning more next year, and the fans don't come back, that could be troublesome.

Heard some good initiatives being considered about attendance in the ADs office. Good things to come assuming these ideas are put into action. Go Orange!

Agree. Just can't see Oregon firing one coach who went 4-8 (33-11 or something like that, in total) to hire another that went 4-8. Houston not being a P-5 matters I think, and ultimately they go with Miles, Kiffin, or someone internal. Think we are good for 2017. Just need a healthy ED and we have a go for launch.

Interesting!

Moorhead should cool his jets for one more year after which the Dazzler gets canned at Bawston Clown. P5 job versus AAC.

Taggert to Oregon
Kiffin to USF
Fleck to Cincy
Shady to Temple

As CBS Sports first reported, Oklahoma offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley impressed Houston officials in a recent meeting for their vacant head job. According to Sam Kahn Jr., the Cougars have already met with Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin and former LSU coach Les Miles, as well. A hire could be made by the end of the week. Riley could be the one to watch here.

$42 mil, wow. He has his work cut out for him. 1 commit for next year at this point and oh yeah one of the most horrific scandals in college sports history. The scandal alone got Rhule an extra $15-20 million

Babers to USF. (was I first?)

On attendance, the flattening of the tickets was a big step.

Has anyone used the interactive seating map for purchasing tickets? I was looking at it as I think about upgrading now to get away from the 2 most annoying fans in the Dome (yes, one is worse than Millhouse). The functionality is really slick. Lets you pick right down to the seat, and gives you a better picture view of the field from the seat than I've seen from other websites.
