2018 Yankees Thread...

We need more runs. CC doesn’t have it tonight.

That guy alert...

This ump’s strike zone is much bigger than that box.

Boone overmanaged tonight.

CC was battling but pulled too early. (Unless that line drive hurt him but I didn’t think it did).

He left Holder out there to die.

When Britton was acquired, the rest of the bullpen had ERAs under 3. Three of them can no longer say that.

So who is going to start for the Yankees on Saturday?
Wasn’t Cessa the starter?

He was. They need a new starter now for Saturday. Sheffield just pitched. He’s out. They could start aj cole or potentially call up chance Adams. No clue.

Gray could probably start on Saturday since he didn’t throw that many pitches on Wednesday.

Do the Yankees practice basic baseball fundamentals? Asking for a friend.

I don't know that anyone practices anything any more.
Throw it as hard as you can, for as long as you can. Swing from your heels (with the proper launch angle, of course).

Heard a stat this morning, when he umps behind the plate (prior to last night) games have gone under the Vegas run total 14 out of 16 times.

Plus aim for 10 rows up past the fence in right field instead of those acres of empty green in left.

Any chance last night's game's O/U was 23?

Some of those early calls on both teams were well outside the box (if we're to believe that box is accurate). I'm surprised the game ended up being a slugfest.

Can't get around the Yankee bullpen pitching batting practice, I suppose.

The Yankee Bullpen had Jose Reyes back.

Can’t let a hardworking ball player like that, take all the pitching heat for the week, month...season.

Well not off to a great start...Should have snuck Happ into the red sux clubhouse...spread some love...give Pearce a big hug...
